Absentee Blogging

It's a particularly busy time right now, as 5 friends from America are in Iasi, we are transitioning for Luci to leave at the end of the month, and generally operating in it's-spring-this-is-amazing hustle and bustle mode. Oh, and my hard drive totally crashed last week (more on that in another entry), so I was computerless for a few days. And currently I'm fighting a nasty cold, so my lessened energy is being devoted to friends and Must-Dos of ministry. So all that to say, posting will be sparse for a bit, not for lack of topics, just simply lack of time. Many many fun topics to write about, coming soon. For now, I will leave you with a picture of the newest member of the team... Talky Robot. She is a chicken given to the Zeke and Marit by a neighbor woman. At first we were not sure if it was a loan or a gift, but now (a week later) we're thinking it's a gift. Sooo, we'll see how that works out. Gotta love being in the second largest city in Romania and being given a chicken by your neighbor.

The owner of our apartment building just built a chicken pen right outside our window and put 6 roosters and a hen in the pen. They have been keeping us up all night. Today our boss said something to her about it and she tried to give him two chickens. As a bribe, I guess? He didn't take them.

Who knew it was so popular to give chickens as gifts?

So... is it rude to eat the chicken, or is it rude not to eat the chicken?
