It's a Love-Hate Relationship

You know how there are certain things that people either REALLY love or REALLY hate?  Take black licorice for instance.  It is rare to find someone who does not have a strong feeling about black licorice.  Most people are divided into the lovers and the haters.  I happen to love this tasty tasty treat.  People such as myself, however, are apparently in the minority.  But the rest of the world just doesn’t understand!

As it goes, on our way home from Oregon (post coming soon!) the movie O Brother Where Art Thou came up in conversation and simultaneously the words “I LOVE that movie!” and “I HATE that movie” could be heard in Dolly the Green Machine (the name I have bequeathed upon the large green van we drive).  Having had the black licorice conversation just the day before, it made me think about what else in this world falls into this Love/Hate category.  So we brainstormed.  The following list is by no means comprehensive and by no means authoritative.  I do realize that there are in fact some uncommitted individuals out there who are neutral on these various items, but by and large, I feel that these are all persons/places/things which people either really love or really hate.  Without further adieu and in no particular order:
